Synopsis

In a curious library in the heart of Brittany, the “Library of Rejected Books,” a young publisher discovers an astonishing manuscript that she immediately decides to publish.

The novel becomes a bestseller. But its author, Henri Pic, a pizza shop owner who died two years ago, could not have written anything other than a grocery list, according to his widow.

A literary critic, convinced that it is a hoax, decides to investigate the case, with the unexpected help of the daughter of the enigmatic Henri Pic.
