The new film by the iconic director Jim Jarmusch explores the awkwardness and closeness between parents and their adult children through three cinematic vignettes of dramatic plot and subtle, understated humor, set in the United States, Dublin, and Paris.

Featuring an exceptional ensemble cast (Cate Blanchett, Charlotte Rampling, Bill Murray), the film delicately poses the eternal question: how well did we ever really know the people who brought us into the world?
