Larnaka Film Festival - Day 2

(9:30 a.m.) Film & Literature: A hands-on workshop for educators

Location: Larnaca House of Arts and Letters

Duration: 3 hours

This workshop is in Greek and is addressed to educators. No prior experience required.

Through practical examples, participants will study the direction and screenplay of a specific film which was based on a book, learn the basic principles of coordinating a film crew and film their own version.

The workshop is free, but registration is required as space is limited.

In front of the Venetian Lion statue

Artists Hub – Mahalas, or Turkish Neighbourhood? However you choose to name it, this historic district behind the Piale Pasa promenade will be our destination for this tour. Starting at the Venetian Lion by the "new" small pier, we’ll explore the revitalised Tourkomahala, now a vibrant hub where artists of all ages live and create before ending at Mesogeios Park for the day’s screening.
