Synopsis

In 1944, following Franco’s victory, a young girl travels to the countryside of northern Spain with her mother to meet her stepfather. The girl lives in a fantasy world of her own creation and struggles to come to terms with reality. While the fascist regime is at its height, she chooses to hide within her own myth.
