In an early 20th century Parisian cafe, a sailor makes a bet to marry the first woman he sees walk through the door. Fortunately for him, the woman he wins the bet for is the dazzling Lizzie. Unfortunately, however, a marriage that begins as a cute joke soon turns into an emotionally painful immersion in jealousy.

The film will be followed by a 15-minute discussion.
